This page describes how you can request deletion of all your personal data from SetterAI, including data obtained from your Instagram account through the official Meta APIs. SetterAI is operated by Adrian Zielinski, based in Poland.
Your right to data erasure ("right to be forgotten") is granted under Article 17 of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and under Meta's Platform Terms. Deletion requests are free of charge and processed within 30 days.
1. Three ways to delete your data
Method 1 -- Self-service in the dashboard (fastest)
- Sign in to your account at setter.adrianzielinski.com/dashboard
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Confirm by typing your email address
- All your data (including tokens and data obtained through Instagram API) is flagged for deletion within minutes and physically removed from our databases within 30 days
Method 2 -- Email request
Send an email from the address registered in SetterAI to: kontakt@adrianzielinski.com
Subject: SetterAI Data Deletion Request
Body: Request deletion of my account and all associated personal data, including Instagram data, linked to email address: [your address]
We will respond within 3 business days with confirmation of receipt and a unique request identifier. Deletion will be completed within 30 days.
Method 3 -- Revoke permissions on Facebook
If you connected your Instagram to SetterAI via Facebook Login, you can revoke access at any time:
- Sign in to Facebook
- Go to Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find SetterAI in the list of active apps
- Click Remove
Revoking permissions on Facebook automatically blocks SetterAI's access to your Instagram. To also delete data already stored in our systems, additionally complete Method 1 or Method 2.
2. What will be deleted
Upon completion of the deletion process, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
- SetterAI account data: name, email address, password, organization settings
- Instagram Graph API data: Instagram Business Account ID, access token, profile data (username, profile picture, account type)
- Direct Messages (DMs): full content of incoming and outgoing messages, conversation metadata, timestamps, delivery statuses
- Contact data: Instagram usernames of people who messaged you, and their publicly available profile data
- Instagram comments and mentions: content of comments managed through SetterAI
- Instagram insights: analytics data fetched via API (reach, impressions, followers)
- AI suggestions and history: all AI-generated responses for your conversations
- AI settings and custom prompts: assistant configuration, prompts, follow-up rules
- Backups: removed within 30 days after primary data deletion
3. What is retained (legal requirements)
To the extent required by law, we retain a limited amount of data for periods mandated by legislation:
- Invoices and billing records: retained for 5 years pursuant to Polish accounting and tax laws
- Security logs: anonymized technical logs (without personal identifiers) may be retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse-detection purposes
- Legal correspondence: if active legal proceedings exist, data may be retained until conclusion
The above retained data does not include the content of your Instagram conversations, access tokens, or any data obtained via Meta APIs -- these are always deleted in full.
4. Deletion timeline
- 0--5 minutes: account deactivation, revocation of Instagram API access tokens, halting of all scheduled follow-ups and automations
- 0--3 business days: email confirmation with a unique request identifier (for email requests)
- Up to 30 days: permanent deletion of all data from production databases
- Up to 60 days: removal from backups
5. Deletion confirmation
Upon completion, we will send you an email confirmation of permanent data deletion. The confirmation will include:
- Date the request was submitted
- Date the deletion was completed
- Unique Confirmation Code
- List of data categories that were deleted
Keep this email -- it may be useful for future inquiries.
6. Cancelling a request
You can cancel a deletion request within 7 days of submission by contacting us at kontakt@adrianzielinski.com. After 7 days the process becomes irreversible.
7. What this process does not delete
SetterAI data deletion does not affect:
- Data on your Instagram account (messages, posts, insights -- these remain in your own Instagram account)
- Data stored by Meta (Facebook/Instagram) on their own servers -- to delete data from Meta, use their procedures: Meta Help Center
- Invoices issued prior to the deletion date (statutory obligation)
